  29. Click on the SETUP.EXE supplied with the archive. Install as necessary. Launch TheNET
  30. from the Startmenu items supplied during installation. Connect to the Internet.

  36. You can add Site-Links, Direct-Downloads to Files, MEDIA, streaming Audio (MP3, REAL + 
  37. other), streaming Video such as MPEG, MOV, REAL+others supported. TheNet database can hold
  38. a maxmimum of 30 MILLION objects!

  40. Over 1,000 Links to "Live" WebCams, Movies have been added to TheNet. YOU can add a further
  41. 29 MILLION webcams (or wait for updates :)

  43. You can slideshow upto 2,000 objects using time-intervals. These can be in their "own"
  44. Window or you can have a separate Window for each picture.

  46. There are 3 categories. Click on the first to reveal the second. Click on the second to 
  47. reveal the available objects under those chosen headings. Easy Peasy to use.

  49. Your limitation is your BROWSER power. TheNET takes advantage of using your BROWSER to
  50. recognise and run as necessary the software to interact with the objects within TheNET.

  52. You can IMPORT and EXPORT TheNET Databases. This allows you to "swap" databases with 
  53. your friends and update without duplicated links.

  55. TheNet checks for New-versions of TheNet when you go on-line and will notify you if there
  56. is an update and will download and import any new databases as necessary.

  58. To ensure full-update compatibility, connect to the Internet BEFORE running TheNet.exe.

  60. Don't forget to use the DeskTopCam and show us yer DeskTop! Who's got the nicest, grooviest
  61. looking DeskTop out-there?

  63. All you have to do is, if you have some web-space, DeskTopCam will upload a screen-grab of
  64. your desktop to that URL. Using WinSock to FTP your site and upload the DeskTop picture
  65. (no information is sent ANYWHERE, its just like using a basic FTP program with no controls
  66. (due to the object of the program, which is to just upload one picture)).
